Sichuan Yuanda Shuyang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (SHUYANG) founded in 1985, was an army-owned enterprise. In 1998, SHUYANG was taken over by Chengdu municipal government. China Grand Enterprises wholly purchased SHUYANG in 2001 and restructured it into a joint-stock enterprise in 2007.
SHUYANG has total assets of RMB 1.1 billion and its manufacturing base is located in high-tech zone of Chengdu city. SHUYANG has 13 plasmapheresis stations in Sichuan and Guangxi province. Its average annual sales value is above RMB 600million and profit tax over 80 million per year. Its sales network covers all over the country and successfully enters into international market. SHUYANG was among the first batch of blood products manufacturers which passed both GMP and ISO 9001 quality certification. It was also the first one who simultaneously passed verification of Quality (ISO9001), Environment (ISO14001) and Occupational Health systems (OHSAS18001). It also got GMP approval and obtained export certifications from Russia and Turkey etc. The main products are in 8 categories with 23 specifications, including Human Albumin, Human Immunoglobulin for Intravenous Injection (PH4), Human Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin for Intravenous Injection(PH4), Human Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin, Human Tetanus Immunoglobulin, Human Rabies Immunoglobulin and Human Histamine Immunoglobulin. The Technology of Double Virus-inactivation without Protective Agent has been patented in United States, Australia and China. It is the first company that launched Human Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin (pH4) for Intravenous Injection honored with the First Prize of Science and Technology Development of Sichuan province and the Outstanding Science and Technology Contribution Award of Chengdu city in Asia in June 2008.
At present, SHUYANG has become one of the most comprehensive manufacturers of blood products in china. It ranks top 50 industrial enterprises in Sichuan, top 20 industrial enterprises in Chengdu. SHUYANG is also recognized as Sichuan Provincial Key Potencial Enterprises and awarded the Top 30 Enterprises of Pharmaceutical Industrial in Sichuan.
